An East Texas native, Dr. Turri earned her Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Arkansas. She also holds an MBA from Sam Houston State University and a BBA from Texas A&M University. Dr. Turri worked independently as a business operator in Italy where she lived for almost five years, before returning to the U.S.A. and entering academia.

Research and Publication Activities:
Dr. Turri has an article published in the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing and has presented research at numerous conferences, including the American Marketing Association Winter Educators’ Conference, Marketing & Public Policy, and The American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences. She also published several chapters in Managerial Communication: Strategies and Applications, 5th Ed, Geraldine E. Hynes, Burr Ridge, IL: McGraw-Hill.
Professional Service Activities:
Dr. Turri is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Society for Consumer Psychology. She is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor society for business students and scholars. Dr. Turri has also given invited presentations on the following topics: “RFID and Consumer Behavior” and “Activating your Brand during the Job Seeking Process”.
Dr. Turri currently teaches Sales Management and International Marketing.
