Chair's Message

The Department of Marketing welcomes you to our website.  We are proud of our acclaimed faculty, staff, and students and encourage you to learn more about them and their accomplishments!

Our department comprises of over 20 full-time faculty members who have garnered impressive local, national, and international recognition regarding their research, teaching, and service.

With a focus on theoretical understanding and practitioner relevance, the department offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing (BBA in Marketing) and a Master of Science in Marketing Research and Analysis (MSMRA).

Collectively, our courses help prepare our students for marketing success.
Furthermore, the Department of Marketing offers concentrations in sales and services marketing for students pursuing their BBA in Marketing.  The sales concentration is supported by The Center for Professional Sales; it is one of only 31 fully accredited sales centers in the United States. 

Outside of the classroom, students have opportunities to participate in faculty-led and student-run organizations that enhance their leadership and teamwork skills, as well as their real-world marketing experience; these include the American Marketing Association (AMA), ENACTUS, and the American Advertising Federation (AAF).  Additionally, our 1000+ marketing students are encouraged to enhance their educational experience through our internship program and study abroad opportunities.  

For students looking to further their marketing skills, we encourage them to consider pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing Research and Analysis (MSMRA); MSMRA is a 30-hour graduate program that can be completed either part-time of full time.  MSMRA prepares students to measure, manage, and analyze marketing performance to optimize productivity and profitability.
