Center for Professional Sales - Global Sales Internship Initiative
The Center for Professional Sales is proud to announce that North American Plastics, a major corporate partner for The Center for Professional Sales, has agreed to participate in the Center's Global Sales Internship Initiative for the second year in a row. The internship will have work assignments in both the USA and Toronto, Canada during the summer of 2020. The two students are Marketing Majors pursuing a Sales Concentration. Their names are Taylor Howard and Jay Rivera. Their internship will begin in San Antonio/Austin in June then proceed to Toronto, Canada in July with the final stop back in the USA for part of August. Once they return, they will finish their internship with a major corporate presentation on their experience. Jason Askew, CEO, and Amy Venezia, Director of Human Development, were highly pleased with the results from the 2019 program with interns Rayne Jones and Jack Walker. Rayne Jones has been offered a major opportunity where she will help launch a sustainability program in the corporate office in Irving, Texas.
The Center for Professional Sales is also proud to announce that UPS (major corporate partner), will be participating in The Center for Professional Sales Global Sales Internship Initiative for the 5th year in a row in Barcelona, Spain. The two students that will be representing The Center for Professional Sales in the McCoy College of Business will be Jesus Garcia and Danielle Kaur, Marketing Majors with a Sales Concentration. Derick Craver, Director of Inside Sales - UPS, indicated that the program continues to provide UPS with top tier bilingual talent which is so critical in today's market. The students will train in April in San Antonio and then work in Barcelona, Spain for a month in May/June. They will return to San Antonio to complete their internship which includes a major executive presentation about their experience.
