Class Registration
Summer and Fall 2021 Registration begins March 29, 2021
(Depending on Hours Earned)
The Department of Marketing will only grant closed-class overrides for students graduating in Summer or Fall 2021. All other requests will be denied.
If closed class overrides are possible:

The Department of Marketing WILL NOT grant overrides to accommodate personal or instructor preference.

The Department of Marketing WILL NOT grant overrides to accommodate work or internship schedules.

The Department of Marketing WILL NOT grant overrides if there are open seats in other sections.

The Department of Marketing WILL NOT grant overrides for students retaking a course for a better grade.

During the registration period, the faculty members of the Department of Marketing DO NOT make decisions regarding closed classes.
Once classes are full, it is the student's responsibility to check CatsWeb frequently for open seats in desired course.
PLEASE NOTE: When considering a request, we review your degree and registration audit which includes the dates and times you attempted to register/drop during current and previous semesters.
Other types of override requests:
For courses MKT 3362 / MKT 4392 / MKT 4393 / MKT 4397 / MKT 4399, you must contact the instructor and receive approval before you will be able to register for the course.
For courses MKT 4337 / MKT 4396 / MKT 4397, you must complete an approval override request form below before you will be able to register for the course.
All students must meet the classification requirement for courses at the time they are trying to register for them. The Department of Marketing and the advising center DO NOT grant classification overrides.
PREREQUISITE: You must meet all the prerequisites before you can register for a course. The Department of Marketing DOES NOT grant prerequisite overrides.
