The Texas office offers internships for 6-12 weeks depending on part/full-time availability. Outreach & Programs Internship

Assist Community & Educational Outreach Staff (preparing presentations, training & conducting community outreach, and completing special projects);

Internet research (on current child abduction & exploitation trends as well as data to increase community partnerships);

Attend various on-site training seminars and presentations. Learn to give NetSmartz® presentations in the community.
Development Internship:
-
Planning and logistics for fundraising activities;

Excellent writing skills (English and/or Communication majors preferred but not required); excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with community donors;

Data entry (training provided for fundraising database); experience using Excel to manage multiple projects;

The Texas Regional Office will holds various fundraising events; Experience with special events is a plus but not required; participation on the day and evening of the event preferred.
Case Assistant Internship:

Provide technical assistance to families, law-enforcement and social-service agencies and courts with issues related to missing and exploited children

Conduct computer database searches
-
Network with law enforcement and state agencies to help resolve cases
