20 hours/week for the length of the semester
Job Description

  • Attends planning/design meetings with clients and senior planner [online or in person]
  • Assists senior planner with planning tasks including, but not limited to: coordination with vendors, seeking out proposals, creating timelines and layouts, networking, etc.[remote] 
  • Acts as event assistant for senior planners at weddings and private events, as needed (often on weekend evenings)
  • Uses social media to promote company through various marketing campaigns.
  • May draft blog posts, emails and other written material as needed.

Preferred/Required Qualifications

  • All items listed below are preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in google sheets, docs, and drive (Microsoft suite is also acceptable)
  • Proficiency in typing, spelling and grammar.  
  • Experience in customer service related field such as hospitality, waitressing or hostessing, concierge, customer support, administration, etc.

Compensation 
Paid opportunity for assisting at physical events, other tasks will be for school credit only. Students may use experience on resumes and may have an opportunity for a paid position if available at the time the internship is concluded.
