COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Central Texas Lobos is a Semi-Professional Soccer Club based in Austin/Kyle, Texas, that competes in the Gulf Coast Premier League. The Lobos' Soccer Facility will also accommodate community and recreation events.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

The Sports Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of daily tasks and events of the Central Texas Lobos.

• Research and coordinate usage of facilities for sports and venues for events
• Assists with event setup, operations, or promotions on nights and weekends as needed
• Be knowledgeable about prices, leagues, and events to be able to respond to inquiries
• Complete a variety of clerical duties - filing, data entry, etc.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with other staff and league representatives
• Generate reports and analysis 
• All other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Coordinate and supervise Lobos' events
• Prospecting potential sponsors and fostering corporate relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree focus in Sport Management or Marketing preferred
• Be able to multi-task and manage various and multiple projects at once
• Must have exceptional traditional writing and grammatical skills 
• Self-motivated
• Flexible schedule e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and regular attendance necessary
• Be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills 
• Spanish proficiency required; fluency preferred
• Sports Marketing experience: 1 year (preferred)

COMPENSATION:

Credit available upon University approval. Sponsorship commission available.
