Chosen Care- Marketing Internship

Company Overview:

Chosen Care is a nonprofit that provides adoption assistance, mentoring, foster and orphan care outreach in New Braunfels and the greater San Antonio area. Chosen’s mission is to support safe, loving and permanent homes for foster and orphaned children.

Chosen has been in existence since 2009 and recently restructured to serve families beyond finances. We aim to care for orphans in their distress and assist foster/adoptive families more holistically with necessary pre & post adoptive support, primarily through education and mentoring.

Job Description: 

Interns receive experience working with business development, strategic plans and market research & development. Tasks and assignments will be in the following areas of interest:

• Marketing research
• Data analysis for executive decision making
• Fundraiser & event marketing
• Create workflows of marketing projects
• Regularly generate and provide reports to staff
• Proactively pursue completion of outstanding deliverables • Perform marketing admin tasks as necessary
• Handle traffic and production timelines

The work schedule is flexible to accommodate class schedules and some work from home or school is possible.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Junior, Senior or graduate student
• Degree track and/or significant coursework in marketing and/or business management
• Student interested in business marketing or marketing research
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytic tools
