Color Mix Graphics & Printing - Design Internship

Graphics & Printing Company is looking for creative graphic design interns for print, web and promotional products. The right candidate must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written commu- nication skills. We are looking for bright young talents that want to learn some real world experience! Multi-tasking is an integral part of this position so it helps to be a well-organized person because we work in a fast paced business environment.

What you will learn: 

• Design and set up files for promotional products.

• Work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to execute

  quality effective designs under short deadlines.

• Produce in-house print projects using a Konika Minolta Digital Press and Canon poster printer.

• Conduct Pre-Press Checks for in-house printing.

• Help promote business on social media platforms.

• Communicate with clients from initial meeting through proof approval.

• Communicate with vendors and business partners as needed.

• Attend Business Networking Group (developing and maintaining

  client relationships when appropriate).

Requirements:

• Juniors and Seniors working on Des/Com degree. • Able to design with Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Experience in a print production environment a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
