Project Management Intern – Spring 2023 
Start Date: ASAP 
Duration: Semester-long 
 
Job Description: 

  • The Project manager intern is the liaison between the client and the programmer.  The project manager will communicate the full scope, objective, schedule, and plan effectively between the client and programmer.  

 
Job Responsibilities: 

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives 
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan 
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to the client and WDATX about strategy, adjustments, and progress 
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution 
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed 
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement 

  
Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college program in the United States 
  • Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection for the entire duration of the internship 
  • Has completed at least 1 year of coursework 
  • Actively enrolled in an internship course 
  • Works well independently and in a virtual team environment 
  • Comfortable working in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment 
  • Basic understanding of WordPress 
  • Basic understanding of web development 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
